Join the International Center of Photography (ICP) for a panel discussion (1:30–3PM) that considers radical curatorial methodologies, approaches that recognize young people as cultural producers, and image-based work that sits at the intersection of art and activism. We’ll use past and upcoming ICP exhibitions as a starting point for conversation, drawing on learned experiences from curators, youth educators, and arts administrators on ICP’s team. Guided tours of the ICP School facility will be offered 30 minutes before and after the program, which includes: classrooms, analog and digital labs, a studio, library, and gallery exhibition featuring the work of the current students in the ICP-Bard MFA program. Light refreshments will be provided.

Please note, ICP has two locations. The ICP Museum and shop are located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The Open House will be at ICP’s midtown location where the school, library, and administrative offices are located. The entrance is on the concourse level of the Grace Building, 1114 Avenue of the Americas at 43rd Street.
