The Bureau of General Services–Queer Division welcomes participants in Open Engagement 2018 – SUSTAINABILITY to an open house on Friday, May 11th, from 1 to 4 PM. The Bureau of General Services–Queer Division is an independent, all-volunteer queer cultural center, bookstore, and event space hosted by The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. Co-founder Greg Newton will be on hand to speak with visitors about the Bureau’s mission, history, and goals.

Visitors can either use the stairs or an elevator to access the second floor. Signage in the lobby of the building and in the hallway on the second floor directs visitors to the Bureau’s room, #210.
The Bureau is wheelchair accessible. All-gender bathrooms are available.
The nearest subway is the A/C/E Trains to 14th St. and 8th Ave. (ADA accessible).
There is an elevator at the northwest corner of 14th Street and 8th Avenue. Note: The ramp near the elevator to the L Train platform is not ADA compliant, use the elevator instead.
Bus connections: M14A, M14D, M20 (northbound at 8th Av and southbound at 7 Av), M11 (northbound at 9th Av), M12 (northbound at 8 Av)
As well, we are near the A/B/C/D/E/F/M Trains at West 4th St. (ADA accessible).
There is an elevator at the northeast corner of West 3rd Street and 6th Ave. Take the elevator to mezzanine level; use northbound or southbound passageway for A/C/E subway platforms. Use elevators on A/C/E subway platforms to go to lower platforms and B/D/F/M subway service.
