Vickery Meadow is a neighborhood in Dallas, TX, where 30,000 resettled refugees, African Americans, and Latinx immigrants live within 3 square miles of each other. Established in 2013 by Rick Lowe, Trans.lation Vickery Meadow provides a platform for community leaders to pursue neighborhood initiatives. Community leaders in Vickery Meadow will present their projects and lead a discussion about strategies towards building inter-cultural understanding and solidarity.
